How do you manage to get through them so fast (or shouldn't I ask?) We've had the same three bed sets for the last fourteen years, we got them all with the M&S vouchers we got as wedding presents. Apart from a couple of dodgy press studs, they're still absolutely fine.

I've got some that belonged to my Nan for years. Just cos we like getting new ones, doesn't mean our old ones are worn out! Well, I speak for myself there, obviously. I buy them cheap to justify the expense.

*Twelve Richey pictures totally count as decor.
Go for the pink leopard. it's in the bedroom so you should be allowed to be indulgant!

They don't get through them through wear and tear but buy new sets just for a change of colour/pattern.

My mother does that, she seems to redecorate every four or five years, whether the room needs it or not. She buys new sofas regularly too, which is good for my brother and sister, who inherit the 'old' ones.

Once I've got something I like, I'm happy to stick with it until someone points out that it's got really tatty. I HAD to paint the bedroom when we moved in, because it was painted in 'suicide blue', a colour so vile that it made me cry to look at it. I painted over it in a fresh green, that was ten years ago, and I'm going to have to redecorate again because we didn't change the carpet, and frankly, it's wearing out. When we decorate, it'll be in colours that won't clash with the stuff we already have.

Ah, maybe if I didn't have so much yarn and stationery I'd have room for more textiles, but then three sets really is enough, plus the two single bed sets for visitors.

Aw, hey Ingvild

Today, I am going to the Space Centre. I've lived here for 3 years now and still haven't been!

A couple of things business related that have fallen into place. Lost a quarter of a stone. Sex has also made me happy today!
