Lifeblood re-issue confirmed for next year (it's a wire confirmation though)

Edit:Until the full set comes we got the usual singles, Sapporo, 1985, Song for Departure, To Repel Ghost, Faster, Die in the Summer time, This is Yesterday (w anchoress), Strip it Down, Freedom of Speech and Tolerate has a not too terrible millennial woop section which closed the gig.
Bloody hell that’s some set! Very jealous of those who managed to attended.

Can't be said enough, James is like a fine wine, getting better with age in every way. Greatest frontman and it's not even close.

Think if you split the Manics 14 studio albums in first half and second half; they played only four songs from the second half all night (SSIS, IB, YLAINE & wmttb).

Other than YSTSFMH which I have heard too many times. ( I know it’s a crowd pleaser) that was a blinder of a set. Wish o was there. Good to see some lifeblood love. 😀

Not gonna lie....I'd kill for that set. Especially after the boring ass North American sets we got last year lol

Okay, I'm horrendously jealous of that set list. The unretirement of Holy Bible songs, then a good shattering of rare tracks. That final run after the acoustic break must have been a breath taking collection of what th been well they do next.

I think I'm right to say only JFPL and Rewind the Film weren't represented at all, which demonstrates the variety present.

I don't think there was anything from PFAYM either unless I'm mistaken. But it doesnt't take away from your point that 23 songs from 11 albums is some going!!

The chat of a Lifeblood reissue makes me think they are happy with the new stuff they are working on. Maybe May 2024 for the new album and Nov 2024 for the LB reissue? Jason Isbell and Noel G were talking recently about a 6 month wait for vinyl so they might be aiming to get the new album finished before Christmas.

Haha! Guess that's what happens when you react to exciting set lists when you're not awake yet. I think that sentence should have been "Must have been a breath taking sequence of what the hell comes next"
