Does anyone have any idea what is going on with this apparent JDB appearance in Guitarist Magazine? 1 cool video and a few pics on their facebook ages ago and that seems about it so far.

I wish that Guitarist article was out already.

I did this in another thread, but this was James' gear used in Cardiff.

Mostly the white Les Paul except for:

4Ever Delayed, Dylan and Caitlin - Fender Strat, sunburst (looked old, too, could have been a 60s one or a really nice relic there was some banter Nicky and James about how he was jumping ship now Gibson's gone bankrupt!)
Faster, Stay Beautiful - That Taylor with the little Wales sticker on it (I'm no good with acoustics)
You Love Us, Walk Me To The Bridge - Gibson SG Custom, white (Usually seen for Slash N Burn live, but that was the Les Paul this time assuming the Pitchfork pedal at work here)
Hold Me Like A Heaven - Gretsch G6120 Chet Atkins
Tsunami - Richey's Fender Thinline (tuned DGDGBC as always for this song)

The Gretsch I assume is the same one he's had since EMG, bizarrely he didn't use it for some songs he actually recorded with it.

June 29th. That's when the issue comes out.

The pedal pic above - the white box on the far right is the Brian May Treble Booster Plus he had off me back in the Postcards era

I’m sure I’ve heard the BM sound (both Vox and Deacy amp) on the new album. Vivian especially.

OK, this may not be the right thread to post this question in, so sorry for that in advance, but who's the bloke playing the lead part in the "In Between Days" cover from the Meltdown fest? There's one extra guy on stage, playing electric guitar (and I don't mean Wayne, who's strumming away on an accoustic guitar in this one).

Gavin Fitzjohn - played 3rd guitar in the recent tour. Occasional trumpets and production of the album too.

I see James played the Fret King for the first (?) time this tour yesterday. Always good to see it getting an outing.
