The way I see it, the more people say they'd like to see the Manics at Reading, the more likely it will be right?

Definitely! So lets get pestering.
They were so damn good in 2008, it'll be so good to have them back although I doubt they'd headline the NME Tent again, and being on the mainstage is never as good.

Rage at not being allowed to go in '08 for some reason. Manics and Biffy ;(

I feel Reading or V is likely and they can only do one, Reading would be the better choice, a few hip young things and a few older fans too.

Definitely I've never liked V. Seeing the Manics play up against Will Young just wouldn't be right.

I liked it, and then i went to Reading and put it into context.

It would be very wrong, I can see them being fourth on the mainstage before Scouting For Girls.

I still haven't been, but my twin has and it just doesn't sound for me but oh dear, it was bad enough seeing them after Bullet For My Valentine.

Don't go, they do decent line ups but it's a trek to the arena, queues are silly, toilets are foul, everyone's drunk and annoying. It's bad when the most interesting people were the ones who'd elected to go for drugs instead.

I quite like Bullet (I lie, I like Tears Don't Fall and not much else).

Hoping for Indiependence festival in Ireland. Apparently they were in talks last year, but they broke down for whatever reason.
If not, then Electric Picnic in Ireland.

For the love of sweets don't play Oxegen...

Yeah few sane people do, only dirty Essex types...

Tears Don't Fall is a tune, Scream Aim Fire is alright too though I hear they're pretty bad live, I'd sit through em for the Manics and punch people in the face ironically.

Oi less of the essex bashing

And yeah they weren't anything special for their pop metal genre lol. I'm not that into that stuff anyway but yeah totally worth it for the manics

I'll leave that to the Beeb.

I've heard too much pop metal in my lifetime and can tell you they're probably the best, they have some emotion. I'd sit through most crap for the Manics to be honest, though I'd have been in a dilemma about seeing The Drums.

I've been put off doing the whole weekend at Leeds by the amount of people in my year who'll go just to spend the whole weekend completely wasted even if they don't really like any of the headlining artists; one of my friends said she wanted to go but she wouldn't want to be sober because otherwise she wouldn't enjoy it! Personally I would want to remember what went on and what the artists were like. Also, I can't really afford to go for the whole weekend, seeing as I'm meant to be saving up for uni

I live about an hour away from Bramham Park and can't go to any of the May dates so Leeds would be ideal really, hint hint if they ever come on here
