I was actually really surprised at the amount of those I've heard used over here, some of them are really common at school and I've heard my dad use quite a few of them.

Yeah that's bound to happen, especially in Scotland. we're a country of emmigrants.

Anyway theres a thread for this.I didn't intend to clog up the happy thread talking about a load of gee.

Curled up on the sofa with a snowball!

I also get two more hours than usual in bed tomorrow morning and then both of my favourite comedians are on the radio on Sunday (on the same show - yay!).

I had wine and a nice chat.

And, since nobody cared first time around: I'm going to Moscow! Woo!

My 'date' went well although i was annoyed that the cold i've just got rid off has decided to come back again. That meant i had to end the evening earlier than i wanted. having said that i would have probably ended up drunk and saying/doing thngs i'd regret the following morning so it's for the best. I'm not sure where things go from here but it was good to see him again. And he felt the same so that's a positive sign.

I'm willing to share your happiness. Wooo!

Now, I know this is how everyone thinks that I spend every day, but today I have shopped for clothes (socks and a t shirt), been to the hairdressers, popped round to a friend's for coffee, had lunch in town, and eaten chocolates whilst watching telly. All I need is a bottle of wine and I'm a real lady of leisure. It's been great. I've also walked for about five miles, and I feel a bit tired.

Oh, and when I was on the very full bus today, a young couple got on with a toddler, and with a baby in a pram. There was already a young mum with a pram on the bus, and the only place available for the second pram was occupied by an old couple. It was brilliant, the old couple saw immediately that the family couldn't get on the bus unless they moved, and I saw them start to stand up (the old lady had a stick) and at the same time, about six people in other seats stood up to let the old couple have their seats. It was so good to see people co-operating without any hassle.

Ooh . Sounds like a promising start, glad it went well despite the illness cropping up.

Ah that's where things are a bit vague. He said he'd phone me in the morning. It's Bob my ex so it's all a bit up in the air. If that makes sense?!

Makes sense to me. Best to tread carefully in those type of situations I guess.

Here's hoping you see him again soon and he's prepared to be less of a stubborn swine. He has a real gem in you if he's prepared to compromise a bit.
